This is a picture of me in one of my most favorite hats. It's a mini top hat with veil and feathers for trim. I find that it goes great with both dresses and a T-shirt and jeans. It's really comfortable and it gets a lot of smiles.
I'm so happy I found your site. My grandmother was a milliner in the 40's and 50's, which I will say was the golden age of hats. I love hat. Love them. But unfortunately I don't look good in them. Sigh. I'm still gonna try.
I bought a hat at Goodwill that I'm going to redesign/repurpose.
I'm a milliner living and working in the small town of Maynard, Massachusetts. I share my home with my Software-Developer husband, my kid, two senior cats, and a mannequin that we decorate with lights at Christmas.

That's adorable. I've added your blog to Min's Weather Radar. I can't wait to see what wonderful things you make.

You look great! I love veils, and wear them too. We *must* make the world understand the wonders of wearing a fashionable veil.
Denise,
Great hat - and it looks fabulous on you.
Jill, thanks for introducing me to Denise's site.
